Mother’s Day Camping

May 10, 2016 by Kelly Klos

I totally had one of the best Mother’s Day weekends ever, so I just had to make a blog post about it!  We went “glam-ping” with all of my side of the family (minus Kristin’s husband Chad) at LaPine State Park, complete with our new camper, our new dog, full hook-ups, and all the cousins.  It was so much fun, and the perfect way to commence our camping adventures around Central Oregon.

I think this shot of Aksel and Everly is one of my favorite’s from the whole weekend…KellyBethPhotography_1459KellyBethPhotography_1478KellyBethPhotography_1479Isaac is a BB gun marksman.  We did several takes to capture the cans exploding and he nailed them on the first try every time.  He also is an excellent teacher, he showed me girls how to do it to and they both nailed a couple of cans too.KellyBethPhotography_1467KellyBethPhotography_1476 KellyBethPhotography_1474 Treasure hunting with Papa’s metal detector.  Lots of bottle caps and pennies found.  I think the biggest score was an old tent spike :)KellyBethPhotography_1470KellyBethPhotography_1456 KellyBethPhotography_1462 Kiki rescued a butterfly from Everly’s splash table and the girls tried to “help” it back to safety.
